Office of Administration

The Office of Administration, headed by the department's deputy director for administration, provides a range of administrative and financial services to help the department achieve effective consumer results. The office's services are divided into the following units:

Accounting - accounts for all funds, manages expenditures, and produces fiscal summaries, analyses and reports;

Budget and Finance - oversees the budget and legislative fiscal note process, provides consultation and oversight of Department expenditures and prepares budgetary, financial and other related reports;

Purchasing and General Services - establishes and administers contracts with private agencies or individuals to provide services in the community and is also responsible for various General Services functions in Central Office.

Reimbursements - collects payments from private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare, and private pay for department services and coordinates revenue maximization proposals.
