Employment Team Network

This network is comprised of external stakeholders who serve in an advisor role to guide the Division of DD in our employment services activities. As an advisor they are asked to review the statewide workplan, provide feedback and recommendations on employment activities and assist us in promoting integrated employment for individuals with developmental disabilities in the state of Missouri. Network members have been asked to serve at least one full year.

We strongly support an employment first vision that will direct our activities and begin to shift our daily practices so that employment is the priority option offered to individuals before any other day service option. We believe that people who are of working age should be expected to work and be given opportunities to achieve their career goals.

It is our desire that this network group participates with us in designing and delivering a best practice service delivery system for individuals who receive supports and services from the Division of Developmental Disabilities
